Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway Inc. might report a lower fourth-quarter profit today as a result if falling insurance rates.
Earnings declined 10% to $1,667 a share, excluding one-time gains such as the sale of shares of PetroChina Co., said Charles Hamilton, says an analyst from FTN Midwest Securities Corp. in Nashville, Tennessee. Half of Berkshires' profit from insurance.

(CBEY:US) dropped $4.8, or 20 percent, to $18.7 after the official close of U.S. exchanges. The provider of telecommunications services to small businesses predicted sales of as much as $360 million this year. That's short of the average estimate of $363.9 million from analysts in a Bloomberg survey.
